We Asked Real Mums What Style Means To Their Families
With the release of our newest street trainer, Boston, we wanted to celebrate the real-life style that inspired its design. The images in this story were styled by real mums we reached out to through Instagram, and the quotes were submitted by real parents through Facebook. The result is a collaborative and diverse study in style.
When it comes to styling our families, there’s a whole lot more to consider than looking good: it doesn’t matter how stylish that designer jacket looks on your toddler, if it's getting in the way of playtime you can bet their appearance will be the least of their worries!
Style means something different to everyone, so we asked real mums what it means to them and their families. Whether you dress to fit in, stand out, to express yourself or simply for comfort, one thing’s for sure: Fun is always in fashion!

Style is something the whole family gets a say on

From our own mums...

To our 5-going-on-15-year-olds...

To our hubbies...

Style and self-expression go hand in hand

Like an outfit that reflects who you are...

Or expressing your creativity with an outfit combo that’s uniquely you...

And not worrying what anyone else thinks...

We love to be inspired by others, but style is always individual

So when it comes to dressing your kids, sometimes you have to compromise...

And the inspiration doesn’t always come from where you’d expect...

But you can’t help but smile when their style inspo comes from you...

No outfit is complete without a smile!

We want our kids to feel super...

And we remember that style isn’t all catwalks and shopping malls - it’s something to have fun with...

The Boston trainer celebrates the street-style we see everyday: The effortless, the flamboyant, the quirky, the sleek and the simple. Looks that inspire you - not to replicate - but to embrace your own style and individuality.
In colours to suit every personality and a minimalist design to be pared back or glammed up, the Boston is the ultimate street-styled trainer.
