A DAY IN THE LIFE: ADVENTURES WITH @TALESOFBOYS

Parenthood is one of the most challenging, magical, exasperating and rewarding adventures any of us can undertake. Most parents experience laughs, frustrations, spilled cornflakes, cuddles and grazed knees, but everyone travels a different path on their child’s wild and wonderful journey and we all have varied and vivid stories of heart-burstingly beautiful times, moments when we just want to use the bathroom in peace, and all the everyday bits in between.

Follow a series of stories from parents and their littlies around the world to see what A Day in The Life looks like in various countries, and see how Bobux fits in with their routine to make their lives that little bit easier... and their kids lives that little bit more exciting (and comfy!) while they go about their daily adventures..

We asked Holly from @talesofboys to share A Day in her Life with her two boys, Roux and Luca.

I’m Holly - a busy mum to two beautiful boys and I help run a photography company in Portsmouth. I juggle work and crazy mum life. We live in Portsmouth which I adore, close to the beach and a short drive to the country. We are always out and about, my children hate staying indoors. I can’t wait to take you with us for the day and show you how non stop living with boys can be.

7.30am *RISE AND SHINE* We wake up and it’s time to start our fun packed day. The boys always start their day fully charged and rearing to go. ROUX WEARS DIMENSION II NAVY LUCA WEARS DIMENSION II BLACK

	9.00am *SHOES ON, OUT THE DOOR* We are all dressed and fed ready to start our day. First stop is a trip to our local supermarket. Luca and Roux love the food shop, I’ve always got them involved with picking what food we have for dinner and make sure they are part of it. They soon start throwing all the snacks in the trolley. I’m sure I leave with half the items I didn’t need. ROUX WEARS GRASS COURT LEMON LUCA WEARS GRASS COURT MINT
11.00am *FEET UP TIME FOR A REST* After unpacking the shopping, it’s time for a little rest, The children hate being indoors for too long. So we soon make plans to get some fresh air and back out the door.

	12pm *WAVES COME AND CHASE US* Our favourite place to go is to the seaside, we are only 10 minutes away from the beach and it’s definitely our happy place. We throw stones, look for really different shells and what we love the most is chasing the waves. We run towards them and quickly run back before they get us. The boys laugh so much. ROUX WEARS JUMP WHITE LUCA WEARS ROAM CARAMEL

1.30pm *FEED ME* Quick dash home to feed the hungry boys. We opt for hummus and pitta, cucumber and carrot sticks.
	2.30pm *A WALK TO SEE NANY* Luca loves seeing his nan. She is a ten minute walk away. Although the boys love to mess around and play as we walk, so it’s more like a 30 minute walk! ROUX WEARS DIMENSION II NAVY LUCA WEARS DIMENSION II BLACK

	3.30pm *ROUX AND MUMMY TIME* Roux loves feeding the squirrels, they have taken a real liking to him and now come up super close - I think Roux thinks he is the next David Attenborough! Close by we spot a beautiful daffodil patch and Roux picks one to give to his nanny, he has a super kind heart and is always thinking of others. ROUX WEARS GRASS COURT LEMON

	5.30pm *TIME TO GO BACK HOME* That’s it, our fun packed day, lots of walking, talking and playing. Let’s hope they sleep well tonight! ROUX WEARS JUMP WHITE LUCA WEARS ROAM CARAMEL
