Bobux Play Launch Events a Huge Success
On Friday 12th Feb, Bobux held an exclusive launch event at Together Fit gym in Williamstown, Melbourne to promote the re-branding and launch of their exciting new Play range. Held in conjunction with launch events in London and Auckland, Bobux AU invited 22 adults and 18 young children (a total of 40 guests), who enjoyed two hours of fun and games.
The event began with the amazing face painting skills of Rachael from Little Art Big Art, selfies in the photo booth, a professional barista serving coffee and a host of tasty, healthy nibbles – green smoothies, muesli jars, fruit platters and muffins (provided by Healthy Self Co .)
At first the most popular attraction was by far the shoe fitting station, where the little ‘uns giggled as two professional fitters tried to keep proceedings organised and get each child's size right. The kids were torn trying to decide between tigers, unicorns, finches and sharks, the four new designs on show. It was hard to say which proved most popular, although unicorns were definitely a popular choice with the girls.
Surrounded by balloons, banners and other great decorations, the energetic bundles of joy leapt off gym balls, clambered over squishy obstacles and played on the monkey bars. With faces painted like sharks and unicorns, and feet adorned in matching Bobux shoes, the army of kids was certainly a sight to behold.
all, the event proved a major success. Kids and adults alike left in exuberant
moods, with a jam-packed goody bag slung under one arm, a
free pair of Bobux shoes under the other.
Towards the end, as kids' laughter reverberated through the open gym expanse, Bobux representative Greg Parmenter stepped up and delivered an inspired speech about the origins and strengths of the new Play range, quoting foot health benefits and the cute, stylish animal features, designed to help kids distinguish their lefts and rights.
Finally, it was time to gather round for a few group photos, a second coffee and a bit of chit chat with friends. We particularly love this photo of (from left) @jerrijones_thelabel, @KidsFashionBlogger, @StylingtheTribe, @TheYoungMummy & @WhatWouldKarlDo.
Within minutes of the event finishing, social media erupted with feedback from those in attendance, echoing the general positivity of the event through the medium of cute images and adjacent hashtags. You can check out what a few of the Melbourne fashionistas and bloggers thought of it....in next week's post: Recap part 2.
Until next time, Bobux would like to thank everyone who attended the three events for their stellar support. We truly couldn't have done it without you guys! We'd also like to send a big shout out to all those who made the events possible - the volunteers, helpers and workers who slaved away to turn our vision into reality. Thank you, thank you. May you #beyoung and stay young too.
